"The Gratitude Ceremony Night” event at the temple main hall in the temporary ordination - teenage summer retreat 2026 took place at Hoang Phap pagoda at Hoang Phap pagoda, leaving many lasting emotions in the attendees in the evening of June 12th, 2026.

The ceremony was witnessed and attended by Junior Thich Tam Truong, Monks of Hoang Phap Pagoda, parents and little learners in a serene, close, and warm atmosphere of Dharma.

Little learners respectfully offered tea as a way of gratitude to the monks and their parents, expressing their deep appreciation for the nurturing and loving care they received. Tears, hugs, and heartfelt sharing created a meaningful evening of gratitude. Next, Junior Thich Tam Truong had some words with the parents and students. He encouraged little learners to always remember and practice the Four Great Gratitude, which is filial to their families, responsible for themselves, and love and help others. He also encouraged kids to apply the 20 verses of “Gratitude” and monks’ teachings to their daily living, so that they could become good children, spreading goodness to their parents and those around them. This is a vivid testament to the spirit of gratitude and repayment of Buddhist disciples.
