The praying ceremony for peaceful of the Vietnamese Oil and Gas Joint-Stock Company.

Desires of a peaceful and happy life are popular wishes of each person, particularly with those who are working at dangerous, unsafe areas, etc, Their safety wish must be stronger than ever. Thus, the Vietnamese Oil and Gas Joint-Stock Company organized the praying ceremony for peace at Hoang Phap pagoda on July 15th, 2014 (Lunar Calendar June 19th, Horse year)

The ceremony  was coincident with the Birthday of\r\nAvalokitesvara Bodhisattva, which became more meaningful. In the Wonderful\r\nLotus Sutra , the  Universal Door chapter  says: "If the\r\nhundreds of thousands of myriads of beings who seek gold, silver, lapis lazuli,\r\nmother-of-pearl, carnelian, coral, amber, pearls, and so forth enter the great\r\nsea, an evil wind may toss their boats into the territory of the rakshasa\r\nghosts. However, if among them there is even one person who calls out the name\r\nof Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, they will all be saved from the difficulty of the\r\nrakshasas”.

In the absolute  belief in his super natural power ,\r\nthe Monks, the Buddhists and the company Leaders chanted The Universal Door’s\r\nSutra and recited the Buddha’s name together for the nations security,  peoples\r\nhappiness, the Worlds peace, the Companys development and prosperity\r\n and the company members safety.

\r\n\r\n

 After the ceremony at the main hall, the Mass went to\r\n the ground where food was offered to the souls who died. Then, Company together\r\nwith the Sangha released animals, which is  a meaningful  activity.\r\nThe ceremony ended in the solemn but joyful  atmosphere.
