As usual, there is a dharma talk which is offered by\r\n the Monks before of ceremony. In this preaching, Junior Thich Tam Nguyen\r\ntalked about the topic “ The richest people on the planetâ€.
\r\n\r\n
The richest are usually associated with those who possesses\r\na lot of money, jewels, title, position, etc..; However, in fact many wealthy\r\npeople are not likely to be happy. Some of them suffer miseries of their\r\npartner or childrens disruption, while others suffer of dissatisfaction of\r\ntheir careers, relationship of society, failure to fulfill their wish etc., .\r\nAt some point, they realize that they are really wealth only when they\r\nachieve happiness, which can not be bought by money. Then, they could\r\nstop their wild dreams of desires, aspirations, living by their instinct to\r\nlead a full life in the current moment for themselves and live to serve\r\nothers..
\r\n\r\n
Buddhas teachings have it that money and material wealth in\r\nlife are impermanent. It can be lost by flood, fire, lavish\r\nspending of his wife and children, thieves, confiscation. There are only\r\nEnlightened Beings treasures which are able to exist forever and brings\r\nthe real happiness to the present and future life. Those are faith, shame\r\nfor oneself, shame for others, precept observance, hearing instructions\r\n renunciation and wisdom.
\r\n\r\n
Buddhist Cultivators having those things above will not get\r\nsuffered in spite of the life’s affliction anymore. The\r\nrichest on this planet are the Buddhists who practice The Honor Ones\r\nteachings and managed to extensively exploit their own enlightenment abilities

After the lecture, the mass started kowtowing, reciting the\r\nBuddhas names and chanting five precepts.
