The Temporary ordination for Children in Summer retreat with the theme Small lotus

  After offering incense to the Buddha in the solemn and serene atmosphere at 08:00 (09/06/2026), the Temporary ordination rite for 40 good sons and the Three-Jewel Refuge ritual for 100 retreat participants officially took place at the main hall under the   witness by the venerable Monks.

 

Finishing introducing the program and the reason statement, the representatives of these young sons respectfully offered a speech to the Three-Jewels. Next, Junior Thich Tam Truong, Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda had some dharma words about the meaning of Three-Jewel Refuge.

 

 Following this, the monks compassionately performed the Temporary ordination rite for the young men. This moment was incredibly sacred and moving, because the young men had bravely made a great vow and entered monastic life, officially practicing the monastic discipline and experiencing the monk's noble conduct during seven days of study at the temple.

 

Furthermore, the Abbot image performs the ordination ritual to the moments the temple monks shave the children's hairs, leaving immense happiness to the parents and the whole participants.
