The Vesak Great Ceremony at Bao Phap Pagoda (Lam Dong), Buddhist Calendar 2570 - Solar Calendar 2026

In joyful celebration of the Buddha's Birthday by disciples across the five continents, Bao Phap Pagoda (belonging to the Hoang Phap Pagoda sect) in Lam Dong province solemnly held the Vesak Great Ceremony on May 24th, 2026.

The event took place at Bao Phap Pagoda in a dignified and deeply spiritual atmosphere. On behalf of the Sangha and the Organizers, Junior Abbot Thich Tam Truong of Bao Phap Pagoda read the Vesak Message, B.E. 2570 by the Dharma-Lord of the VietNam Buddhist Sangha, Chief Most Thich Tri Quang. Next, the floral offering performance by the Buddhist Youth Group expressed their deep reverence for the Compassionate Father. Then, Junior Thích Chơn Cảnh delivered a Dharma talk, reminding Buddhists that Vesak is not merely a festival of flags, flowers, and rituals, but a reminder to return to our true, tranquil nature by a mindful life. He encouraged practitioners to follow the Buddha's footsteps, spreading the spirit of compassion, wisdom, and love of the Dharma by every good deed. Indeed, the presence of Buddhists, which demonstrates their solidarity on the path of practice and service, serves as a testament to their noble and pure faith in the Triple Gem.
