As we know, Dien Quang Pagoda is a branch of Hoang Phap\r\nPagoda. As such, in his recommendation speech Senior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh\r\naddressed the real meaning of Vesak to the participants. By so doing, the\r\nSenior Ven. once again roughly mentioned the life of the Buddha  through\r\nwhich the former encouraged the Buddhists to study, live and follow the World\r\nHonored One’s example. For this, the Buddhists should improve themselves by\r\nleading an useful life and keep their religion fine so that this worldly life\r\nmay become more meaningful to them. Also, on this occasion Senior Ven. Thich\r\nChan Tinh sent his sincere thanks to all of the Buddhists who had joined their\r\nspiritual and material supports, together with the head manager of Dien Quang\r\npagoda, in completing the Buddhist work and the benefits of the followers as\r\nwell.

Also, within the framework of celebrating Vesak, Senior Ven.\r\nThich Chan Tính performed the ceremony of handing down the three Buddhist laws\r\nand five precepts to almost 1,000 lay people.

The ceremony ended in the joy mixed with wordless emotion\r\nfrom all of the participants. They all wished The Trinity’s great favour bless\r\npeace to Vietnamese people and their nation so that the coming Vesak ceremonies\r\nwould be orgagnized more successfully than the present one and in the hope that\r\nBuddhism will be propagated to all Vietnamese with their sacred cultural value\r\nhanded down by the Buddha.
