Mixed with the joy of billions of Buddhists on this planet\r\nin the hope that overseas Vietnamese would understand more the real meaning of\r\nVesak and be able to be attached to the Buddhist predestined affinity. Hoang\r\nPhap Pagoda Monks did not mind difficulty in organizing the Great Vesak\r\nceremony at Hoang Phap Pagoda in Svay Rohun Commune, Sa Ang rural district,\r\nKandal province in Cambodia.  This has been the first time Hoang Phap\r\nPagoda in Cambodia organized such a great Vesak ceremony. Right at the ceremony,\r\nSenior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh had some words of recommendation to the local\r\nparticipants. After briefly reviewing the Buddha’s life, the Ven. indicated\r\nthat this worldly life was impermanent. But how should everybody understand\r\nsuch a term - impermanent? He continued explaining that human beings much or\r\nless have to live in great misery. However, the most important thing is that in\r\nsuch a situation how should we select our way of life? After having mastered\r\nimpermanence of life and the cause-and-effect rule we should open our heart\r\nwidely - only in such a situation could we enjoy peace and happiness.

To end this ceremony on that sacred day and follow the\r\nbenevolent example of the Buddha, Hoang Phap Pagoda gave out charitable\r\npresents to over 360 local needy Vietnamese and Cambodian families.
