Namo Shakyamuni Buddha!

April, time for the Buddha’s Birthday, Buddhist disciples joyfully welcome the day Buddha appeared to us. Devout Buddhists have wholeheartedly set up models of the Lumbini Garden, creating a solemn and serene atmosphere in their homes, temples, neighborhoods, and Buddhist groups.

Decorated with flowers, Buddha statues, and Buddhist items, each Lumbini garden expresses reverence, faith in the Three Jewels, and the will to support the Dharma. Taking many days meticulously on every small detail, Buddhists work together to create a space filled with colorful Zen, allowing everyone to commemorate the momentous event of the Buddha's Birth.

Visiting the Lumbini Gardens in HCMC and surrounding provinces, the Monks acknowledged the Buddhists' efforts and dedication. Each miniature landscape evoked beautiful emotions, because each model was a sincere devotion and joy in contributing to this crucial event's sacredness.

After reviewing, evaluating, and summarizing the models, the Organizers selected the typical Lumbini gardens and awarded prizes to the families, which encourage and commend the Buddhists' spirit of Three-Jewel supporting:

- First Prize: Thien Tri Quang - Dieu Dinh

- Second Prize: To Lang - Thanh Duy - Hai Dang - Bich Lien

- Third Prize: Lieu Phuoc Huy

- Consolation prize 1: Nguyen Thi Thanh Tu,

- Consolation prize 2: Nguyen Thanh Tung,

- Consolation prize 3: Nguyen Thi Loi

The most precious thing accompanying these awards is the spirit of unity, volunteers, and the merit that all Buddhists have contributed to this Buddha's Birthday. Each Lumbini Garden is a flower offered to the Buddha's Birthday celebration; each contributing good deed is a wholesome seed sown in the implementers' mind.

We wholeheartedly commend the merits of all Buddhists enthusiastically joining and contributing to mark a solemn, meaningful, and Dharma taste-filled Vesak celebration.
