Visiting and Wishing a Happy New Year to Noble Venerables

Different from the joy gathering and reunifying with\r\nmembers, every moment of life in the wake of the clan of Thich is the completed\r\nspring, a perfect spring, a spring mind towards the benefits of Buddhists. So,\r\nthe moment of the season is the moment for Buddhists to recall a question of\r\nwhat they did and they didn’t do in the year. In that spirit, from February 12th to\r\n15th , 2015 (from Lunar December 24th to 27th, Horse Year), Senior\r\nVen. Thich Chan Tinh visited some branches at Dong Nai, Binh Thuan, Nha Trang,\r\nLam Dong, Dac Nong, Tay Ninh and Cu Chi. These branches were in construction or\r\nbeing prepared to build, and some regions have sparsely population. Then, monks\r\nand Buddhists were not afraid of difficulties, had brave construction, and\r\ndetermined to form ashrams for local people to practice. It is the selfless of\r\nmartyrdom spirit from Buddha’s teachings: “Bhikkhus…! Go and preach for the\r\nbenefit of people, for the happiness of the majority, for the compassion for\r\nthe world, for the benefit, for the happiness of devas and human.” In front of\r\nthe spirit of martyrdom of the Nobel Venerables and Buddhists in the branches,\r\nthe Senior Ven. sent praises of their cultivation, as well as the\r\nresponsibility of each person’s propagation to deserve as a Buddhist. Besides\r\nthat, the Senior Ven. and monks also pointed out the ways to develop and\r\ncontribute some monasteries in which they have some ashrams practicing to bring\r\nbenefit for the people. However, these measures depend not on the monks’ effort\r\nwhich is only a necessary condition but on predestined affinity of local\r\npeople’s support, which is a condition of success.

At the end of the meeting, the Senior Ven. sent a DVD\r\n“Saving Beings” and lucky envelopes to the monks and Buddhists at each branch\r\nfollowed with the expectation that everyone will have a peaceful spring, a\r\nwarming spring in Buddha dharma in order to build the background of missionary\r\nactivities and benefit for all.
