On March 29th, 2016, Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh paid a visit to Fo Guang Shan Monastery in Taiwan with Taiwanese Buddhists.

Fo Guang Shan was founded in 1967 by Most Venerable Hsing\r\nYun – one of the most well-known monks of the 20th century together with\r\nhis disciples.

Thanks to the Buddhists’ contributions, pristine Fo Guang\r\nShan has today become a Holy Land of Buddhism with 20 buildings.

Coming to Fo Guang Shan, every visitor must be dazzled with\r\nthe solemnity, majesty and grandeur of the works here.

Fo Guang Shan is also called the capital of Buddhism in\r\nTaiwan due to not only the scale of its massive architect but also its role as\r\na place for an enormous number of domestic and international Buddhists to put\r\nfaith in.

Besides, this is also the place where monks and\r\nnuns from various parts of the world gather to study and practice as well as\r\nthe starting point of the educational system from elementary, intermediate to\r\nuniversity and later graduate for all sìla.
