28th Memorial Ceremony of Venerable Master Ngo Chan Tu at Hoa Phuc pagoda- Ha Noi capital

We respectfully listen to parents who gave birth the body with five senses; patriarchs teach the code of conduct and wisdom. Five aggregates are propelled into the birth-death circle while the wisdom life is beyond the death. An ethic gratitude is like the high sun and immense ocean despite hundreds of thousands of lives’s without being repaid. In the spirit of gratitude and grace of the Buddhist, in the evening of October 14th of Monkey Year (Nov. 13th 2016), Hoe Phuc pagoda (Hoa Truc Hamlet, Hoa Thach Commune, Quoc Oai District, Ha Noi Capital) has solemnly celebrated the 28th Death anniversary of Venerable Master Ngo Chan Tu. He is the Patriarch creating Sangharama Hoang Phap Pagoda (HCM city), a place of Buddhists Patriarchal Hoa Phuc pagoda

I was thrown in the suffering of the life

Master compassionately picked me up

Wearing the warm and soft dharma robe

Drinking Dharma as dairy product, eating meditative rice

I remember the merits of patriarch

As bringing the light of lamp

For shining on my dark and uncertain minds

The ceremony took place under the religious justification of Venerable Thich Tam Hoa, abbot of Hoa Phuc pagoda and the monks in the pagoda; the nun Thich Dam Luyen, abbot of Phuc Yen pagoda and more than 800 Buddhists, who are students walking on the path that patriarch enlightening.

Opening the ceremony, all people attended the recite of sutras under the intonation preach of Venerable Thich Tam Hoa. Then, all monks, nuns, and Buddhists knelt before the statue of Venerable Master Ngo Chan Tu to spend one memorial minute for Him.

On behalf of all practitioners that received great mercy of Venerable Master Ngo Chan Tu, Venerable Thich Tam Giai declared the history of Venerable Master Ngo Chan Tu.

Although being lack of blessing that the patriarch taught when He still lived, from the words of Master Chan Tinh and Tam Hoa, Buddhist Bao Cham on behalf of other Buddhists appraised to the soul of patriarch some feelings of gratitude because they received the great fruit cultivated by patriarch before.

As a next generation of patriarch, Phuc An Buddhist, a representative of Youth Buddhists, rose the words: ”We will bring Compassion- Knowledge- Brave and enthusiasm of youth to be close and support Three Treasures and develop Dharma. We sincerely pray for aspirations and teachings of patriarch shining forever so that we follow. Also, we use it as a guideline of life orientation, and do not waste the youth in love, hatred and delusion surrounding in life.

Memorial ceremony becomes more meaningful when Venerable Thich Tam Hoa had words of praise for the actions of patriarch. He shared the public with the life of patriarch from his renunciation to his death that he contributed to life and dharma of our country. The Venerable desired that in front of patriarch’s statue and soul, all people vow together to resolve all life to follow Buddha– Dharma-Monk, resolve six virtues of perfection as a baggage on the road to preaching, and resolve all life to get discipline- meditation- wisdom as the guideline for learning path to repay the thanks of patriarch.
