One - Day Practice at Dong Cao pagoda, Thanh Hoa

On Dec. 07th, 2025 (Oct. 18th, LC) Dong Cao Pagoda in Thanh Hoa province (belonging to Hoang Phap pagoda's sect) continued to organize One-Day Practice for Buddhists everywhere to attend.

Junior Thich Tam Hung, Abbot of Dong Cao Pagoda instructed the mass walking meditation, had a ritual of six-sense repentance, reviewed Three-Refuge and Five precepts, and freed out sentient beings.

 

At 9:30 a.m, the mass solemnly listened to a dharma talk named What will follow us after death? at Ngo Chan Tu lecture hall which was preached by Junior Thich Tam Hung - Abbot of Dong Cao Pagoda, Thanh Hoa. He helped listeners gain more wisdom to become more steadfast on the path of cultivating virtue and learning Buddhism, overcoming five- sense desires to follow the path shown by the Buddha and the Patriarchs. The Dharma talk concluded in the joy of everyone. Following this, the attendees had a meal under the guidance of the monks.

 

All attendees practiced sitting quietly and reading Sigalovada sutta, as well as reciting the Buddha name in the afternoon.
