Before concluding the 2026 Summer Retreat, the students had precious time to reflect and deeply appreciate the happiness they had experienced over the past seven days during the gratitude program "Forever in My Heart".

The Monks and Nuns came to the dharma hall at 7:00 p.m. to give guidance and teachings, serving as a compass for the inner transformation of the youth. "The most valuable thing about a journey is not what we hear and learn, but who we become with the knowledge we carry with us."

After the seven-day retreat, students might be asked if they have rediscovered their own noble moral values, but no one will ask how many Buddhist scriptures they know by heart. The journey of learning Buddhist teachings to transform deeply ingrained habits does not end with the retreat; it is a long journey requiring diligence, mindfulness, and a heart capable of loving oneself and this life.

Inspired by the theme "Life's Slope," the Organizers hope that after these meaningful days of study, the young participants will be equipped with wisdom, love, and compassion, daring to face life's challenging slopes to continue writing their own brilliant and meaningful journeys of youth.
