During the ceremony, Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh had some reminders to the abbot about the future propagation.
Abbot position plays a very important role in the survival of a pagoda. Abbot has the meaning of "practice good dhamma, recite Tathanata sutra". An abbot must give up the wealth for the poverty, sacrifice the body for Buddhism. The purpose and aspiration of the monk is "Needing the superiors, salve interiors" never be distracted dominantly on the path and forget the ideal a monk. Abbot like a boatman who takes guests across the river, does not mourn and sticks to anything and always settle in the middle of the two sides of ignorance and enlightenment. "Behave inferiors as benefactors, not as servants." Arrogance and selfishness are the bad omen of cultivators. Ones, who humbly respects people will receive love and assistance of fellow brothers and the Buddhists.
At the end, the Venerable, on behalf of the abbot, sent his gratitude to the religious leaders of the Buddhist association, the authorities and the Buddhists who helped Dang Phap pagoda during last time.
