Animal Release in Can Tho Province

On March 18th, 2016 (February 10th Monkey Year), Junior Venerable Thich Tam Hue and the Buddhists came to Can Tho to hold water- burial celebration ofthree sets of bone ash from Buddhist Chuc Le’s relatives, transferring merit to the deceases.
The group devided intosmall groups bought fishs, frogs, ells etc. at market 20, An Hoa ward.After vowing and praying for them, the groupreleased themback to the Song Hau river. Then they preceded the water-burial celebration ofbone ash.
Everyone’s body that was formed from soil, water, wind, and firewould be existed in short or long span and finally return to them, which depends on Karmaso as to be reborn. The relativesshould do charity to do blessings for the dead’s soul being earlyreborn in peaceful realm. This work is practical. Comprehending of this, and after the time having sent the bone ash to the pagoda, BuddhistChuc Le invited the Venerables to hold water-burial celebration.
After the Venerables’s and Buddhist’s prayingand Buddha reciting for them, the bone ash were released into Hau River.
The group released over four tons of fishs with the total of 77.400.000 VND by the Buddhists such as Chuc Le, Mrs Ton Tho, Hoai Thuong, Lien Van , Kieu Van and Buddhists of all places.
