Board of Reciting the Buddha of Lien Tri Celebrating the Ceremony of Annual End.

On February 8th, 2015 (lunar Dec. 20th , Horse Year) the board of reciting the Buddha Lien Tri visited and inquires Senior Abbot Ven. Thick Chan Tin’s health and celebrated the ceremony closing the annual end at the Hoang Phap pagoda.

In the morning, the Senior Ven. had some words to the\r\nBuddhists of the Board reciting Buddha Lien Tri. The cultivators on the Sect of\r\nBuddha‘s name recitation who wish to be reborn in the Pure Land of the Buddha\r\nAmitabha. However, currently, most of practitioners on this sect, who make\r\nmistake for caring their death in the future and forgetting their present life.\r\nIt means they only concentrate on reciting the Buddha’s name to be reborn in\r\nthe Pure Land and forget their duties, responsibility toward their family and\r\nthe society. Cultivating this way has to purify our words, actions, thoughts.\r\nTherefore, Buddhists should skillfully practice their cultivating to attain\r\nbenefits at present moment and rebirth in the Pure Land in future.

The noble Buddhists, who temporarily stop their own work,\r\nand attend to reciting the Buddha’s name supporting a dying person, which is a\r\ngood deed, suitable for the compassion spirit of Buddhism. Besides, the board\r\nof reciting the Buddha’s name should be rightly aware of their support. A dying\r\nperson who would be reborn or not depends not only on the board or support\r\nmonks, but also his/her own. The board would help that one being awaken and\r\nenlightened to recite the Buddha’s name. If they recited the Buddha’s name in\r\ntheir insistent and sincere mindfulness, they would be reborn.

Finally, the Senior Ven. highly praised the merit from all\r\nof them and wished the Buddhists the body actions and mind as well as diligent\r\ncultivation.
