Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh, abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda, on behalf of witnessing clergymen, explains the marital code of ethics to the just-married couple. The key point for a happy family is harmonization, the root of peace and happiness in life. From this root, we can grow the Home-Sweet-Home with happy members who can together form and develop the family culture of morality, education and good manners that can descend to future generations.
Additionally, the Venerable reminds that young couples should build up a better future by taking refuge in Triratna, preserving the five precepts for lay Buddhists. Each member of the family should regularly cultivate Dharma and good trend in life and believe in cause and effect rule. Five precepts are the fundamentals of human morality with which those who living aligned will have happy and easeful life in present and future.
