Buddhism Wedding Ceremony

This morning Sep 03, 2017 (Jul 13, lunar calendar), Hoang Phap Sangha holds Buddhism wedding ceremony for young couple Nguyen Van Quang and Do Quynh Trang.

In the main shrine of Hoang Phap pagoda, representatives of the couple’s families offer appeal for the witness of clergymen in the important day of the bride and groom.

In response to the sincere petition, Venerable Thich Tam Hue sends blessings and advices to the young couple as the precious gift from Triratna to the young couple.

In marriage, it is necessary for everyone preserving the spirit of Kàya sàmaggi, six good terms for harmony, to ensure whole-life happiness. Spouses need to be tolerant, love and take care of each other in the spirit of listening- understanding, sharing and sympathy. Both sides should be responsible in marriage instead of chasing around for flashy things while abandoning true love of life.

In addition, couple should perform filial piety to parents, take care of and breed children following family tradition. Family members need to study, understand and apply Buddha's teachings into daily life for the sake of peace and happiness in the family.

With the traditional rituals such as kowtowing Triratna and parents, handing wedding rings, taking Buddhism marriage oath for the bride and groom ... the ceremony has left a meaningful impression and unforgettable memory for the young couple. In coming time, there may be challenges, difficulties or even collision in marriage, this event will help spouses looking back to correct errors, recalling these advices to overcome hardship and keep on preserving the little home-sweet-home of their own.
