Buddhism Wedding Ceremony

In the main shrine, representatives of families appeal for wedding witness from clergy people.
In response to the sincerity of Buddhists, Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh, Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda, sent his blessing and advices to couples.
In family, it is necessary for members to nurture the spirit of KÃ ya SÃ maggi (six good terms for harmony) to have sustained happy marriage. Spouses should tolerate, love and take care of each other. In the spirit of understanding, sharing and sympathy, married person should be aware of his/her duty and responsibility to spouse and the whole family instead chasing after temptation and dropping the true-love.
In addition, couples should perform filial piety to parents, breed children with family tradition. Buddhist, after taking refuge in Triratna, should preserve the five precepts, the fundamentals of morality. Family members need to learn Buddha's teachings and apply them to daily life for peace and happiness.
With traditional wedding rituals as expressing gratitude to Triratna and parents, handing wedding rings, taking oath of Buddhism marriage ... the ceremony has left deep impression and unforgettable memory in the mind of just-married couples. This will help them overcome difficulty or conflict that may occur in life. Monk’s advices will go abreast with their marriage and keep it warm and happy.
