Ceremony Constructing Hoang Phap Pagoda in Cambodia

In two days of on Feb.18th and 19th, 2017 (Jan. 22nd and 23rd Lunar Chicken Year) Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh and monks in Hoang Phap pagoda came together to Kandal province in Cambodia in order to organize ceremony for beginning the construction of Hoang Phap pagoda in Cambodia.
Hoang Phap pagoda in Cambodia, the kingdom of stupas, was a branch of Hoang Phap pagoda in Viet Nam. In the feeling of worry, tossing and wishing to bring the light of Dharma law to everybody, especially to Vietnamese people who were living in Cambodia, there was a great need for a spiritual roof in order to rely on cultivation. Therefore, under the instructions of original teacher - Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh, abbot of Hoang Phap pagoda in Ho Chi Minh City Viet Nam - Junior Venerable Thich Tam Truc has made up his great mind, following the noble mission transmitted by Masters, coming to the country of stupas for building a bodhimandala to resident Buddhists in cultivation, and from then the pagoda was gradually formed.
With blessings of the Trinity, concerning and whole-hearted help from Cambodia Buddhism Congregation as well as the acceptance and favourable conditions from the local government at various levels. Up to now Hoang Phap pagoda in Cambodia Kingdom was officially given a constructing licence with works: Main hall, lecture hall, guest house,....
At 9:00 am, the program of ceremony happened under the witness of Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh, abbot in Hoang Phap pagoda - Viet Nam, monks abbot at branches of Hoang Phap pagoda, monks and nuns abbot from pagodas in Cambodia and Viet Nam, venerables in Cambodia, delegates on behalf of local government and mass of Vietnamese and Cambodia Buddhists have together attended ceremony.
Beginning the ceremony, after declaring the reasons and introducing the presence of delegates, Junior Venerable Thich Tam Truc, abbot in Hoang Phap pagoda in Cambodia - chief of the organizing board, has made an opening speech to ceremony. The speech has brought out the value and importance of pagoda in each person's life, especially in Vietnamese people who have been living and working in Cambodia. Simultaneously has also pointed out the role of people who have supported the Triple Gem so that this pagoda will complete in a short time.
After that, Thien Hy Buddhist on behalf of all Buddhists has vowed to support for construction the pagoda. This was a core force to contribute for creating the solemn and lovely sight in pagoda.
Because Dharma law was promoted by propagating of Sangha,
Pagoda was prosperous by vow mind of Buddhist followers.
Besides, we had to include the support from government at various levels, therefore Mr Suon Len on behalf of government at various levels spoke congratulatory words to ceremony.
Next, everybody was listened to the teachings and stimulating words from Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh. In his religious words, He mentioned about the process of forming the ground, from the first steps in the nation of stupas, up to now we were participated ceremony to begin the construction of pagoda. Since then, he raised the value of pagoda in life of everyone. On this occasion, he had his words to be grateful to any accordant causes in order to have Hoang Phap pagoda in Cambodia Kingdom as well as the success of ceremony.
Ceremony constructing of pagoda was officially closed with rituals to offer incense for praying, rituals to break the ground and releasing the balloons to pray for peace.
In program, there were the presence of many singers and artists such as singer - actor Tuan Phuong, singer - musician Bao Hung and baby Bo who expressed many musical compositions such asThe teacher's heart, Be grateful the Sakyamuni Buddha, Feelings of a child.Besides, there were attendance of Cambodia artists with traditional dances which brought back happiness as well as praise for the success of ceremony.
After ceremony, Hoang Phap sent 400 gifts to Cambodians who were difficult situations. These gifts were donated by Junior Venerable Thich Tam Minh, abbot in Hoang Phap pagoda in Australia.
