Conditional causation coming

In this spirit, on special day in initial Monkey spring, a Canadian whose name is Patrick Du Four with good casual conditions came to Hoang Phap pagoda, first to kowtow to Buddha, and then to stay here for cultivating during seven days. That made the monks and Buddhists in Pagoda feel delighted and create him the best condition to get much peace and contentment when staying here.

He was born in the Christian family, but he has not followed this religion because he realized that Christianity is not practical, cannot solve his problems and especially cannot transform his heart of suffering in life though he used to think of becoming a priest when he was a child. Long time later, he realized that Christianity did not  bring him any benefits and decided to shift to Buddhism. At first he read Buddhist books. Because of limited conditions he practiced things which he studied by himself. Although Buddhology is difficult to understand and unfamiliar with Western, he understood its life doctrine, experienced in peace and contentment from himself through meditation. He said: “If I were born in Vietnam and were a Vietnamese, I could have been a Buddhist or a monk if possible”. But he is a Canadian and it’s difficult to perform that there. His words deserve us. We, Buddhists, should reflect and respect the conditions we have.
