Dharma Talk “Coming and going is impermanent” – the 95th Seven-Day Retreat.

On Dec. 27th, 2020, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Trinh came to the lecture hall to share a Dharma with the topic “ The coming and going is impermanent” in the 95th Seven-Day Retreat to practitioners.
Everybody always seeks a long, peaceful life in many different ways; However, upheavals are still lurking around us, not at one time or another. Everything will follow their inevitable rule of birth, ageness, illness, death, also after meeting together, there will be a certain separation, it gaves the meaning of impermanence", an important notion in Buddhism, so that each person will contemplate and have an optimistic and positive outlook.
Through a humorous story from preacher life, it is the lesson for each person to understand and recognize adversity that a monk always faces and overcomes. In particular, the mass will feel impermanence in the simple stories at the place of cultivation. He emphasized that practice is not something of transcendence, but cultivating in the smallest deed. He has also mentioned the examples of situations that lead to mistakes cited in the sutras in order to remind the practitioners to pay attention in practice, do not be lazy in good deeds, then we will come close to liberation.
In the end, the Junior Ven. advised them to practice patience, sow true causes seeds, and forgive others to reap good results later.
