Update: 30/12/2020
On Dec. 30th, 2020, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hoa, the abbot of Hoa Phuc pagoda in Hanoi came to the lecture hall to share a Dharma with the topic “Interpreting suspicions about Purland” in the 95th Seven day Retreat to practitioners.
To step steady on a long journey, we all have to have a strong belief in what we are doing to certainly succeed. Thus, to have a peaceful and happy spiritual life, each practitioner must have the period of purification of body and mind. The choice of the practice method (here is the Pure Land) is very necessary and the most important thing is the solid faith in cultivation. Currently, the information and communication network has published many negative information streams, if our beliefs are not strong, it will be easy to cause confusion, lead to doubts about the method we have chosen. From here, Junior Ven. talked about the belief of the Pureland sect to build on three factors: faith, vow, and practice. At the same time, whatever dharma methods must be built on the foundation of absolute belief in Buddha, Dharma, Sangha, and Precepts. After that, he had the detailed analysis on the above four beliefs in order to help the participants dissolve doubts and strengthen faith in the Pure Land practitioners.
By the way, he emphasized how to recite the Buddha's name in daily life, showing the practice in every step, the smallest gesture. This will be the material for each to establish a peaceful Pure Land within its own family, making the world of Great Bliss to exist in the human realm.
