Dharma Talk "Mind and Scene Being Compatible" in The 98th Seven-Day Retreat

On the four day of the 98th Seven-Day Retreat of Dec. 7th, 2022; Junior Thich Tam Luan, Chief of the Propagation Board of Cam My district’s Buddhist Sangha, Abbot of Bao Quang Temple had a dharma Talk in the Retreat on the title Mind and scene being compatible.

2.Mind precedes all knowables,

  Mind's their chief, mind-made are they.

  If with a clear, and confident mind

  one should speak and act

  happiness follows caused by that,

  as one's shadow ne 'er departing.

  (Dhammapada Sutra)

In his preaching, the monk explained about human mental states. Each one of mind will correspond to the realm in which we are and will live. The mind is the main cause of feelings of sadness and joy. If with a pure mind, good thoughts, immediately one’s mind is peaceful and happy, thereby spreading peaceful energy to family and everyone around. On the contrary, if with an afflicted mind, think and do unwholesome things, one’s mind will become restless, and then bring the karmic effects to the painful realms. Therefore, practitioners must be aware, choose, and practice for themselves a good and noble life in order to have peace in the present and go to a happy realm in the future.
The Dharma talk ended in the joy of the mass.
