Dharma Talk “The Buddha’s Core Teaching” – The 91st Seven-Day Retreat

In the morning of April 27th, 2019 (March 23rd, LC), Ven. Thich Tam Thuc had a Dharma Talk to the 91st Seven-Day Retreat’s participants on the title of “The Buddha’s Core Teaching”.
The Tipitaka contents enormous teaching of the Buddha, among them what is the Buddha’s core teaching that we should keep and follow as the guides for our practice? That’s letting go whatever we try to attach including desires, love, wrong-view, unmindful thoughts. The Buddha’s teaching likes boat helps us to cross the river, but having arrived the other shore we have to let the boat go. Always be mindful to feel the present life and take good care of eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body, and mind to make sure we don’t attach anything in life… Be mindful and awaken of impermanence and the temporary life then we have no more defilements, no more suffering.
One hour sharing had given to practitioners the core teaching of the Buddha and some methods to overcome unexpected things in life.
