Thanks to the Buddha's teachings, it is two virtues of patience and contemplation that are the core to the attainment of supreme enlightenment. Patience is the ability to endure and overcome adversity. By countless lifetimes of practice, in countless challenges, facing difficulties from nature, society to inner demons, if there were no abundant patience, how could the Buddha overcome them, even thought the ultimate patience to sacrifice his body and life for enlightenment. The second dharma is inner contemplation, that is the ability to meditate. With His transcendent wisdom, the Buddha learned from many famous monks, practiced extreme asceticism, but in the end still did not understand the truth. Only when He sat under the Bodhi tree, returned to set in his breath, contemplated the truth of impermanence, non-self and dependent origination of the world, he attained complete enlightenment, escaped birth-death suffering, and led sentient beings to liberate themselves from suffering. Following the Buddha's teachings nowadays, Buddhists need to practice the Buddha-recitation method to eliminate afflictions, create peace to be reborn in the Pure Land in which it is very important to be diligent in these two methods of patience and thinking power.
