Dharma talks about "Things to do" in the 4th day practice.

On May 2nd, 2023, Junior Thich Tam Cung – a monk of Hoang Phap pagoda - had a Dharma talk to the mass with the topic "Things to do".
For nearly an hour, the monk shared ten-thing joy, happiness, and satisfaction being difficult to gain in life of the Anguttara Nikaya. Next, he also analyzed and clarified about thinking and right mindfulness for the mass.
By many detailed images, such as the zen circle in The Zen Sect, the story of Buddha and Ananda as examples for the difference in the nature of sentient beings; he preached clearly that studying the dharma is necessary and applying the dharma is even more necessary.
Young people today are prone to depression and pressure from family and society, he pointed out the reality of parent-child relationship which partly arouses love and how to show love properly from parents to children.
The monk also mentioned that "things to do" is that each individual has different life and practice goals, so, the things to do for each person in each stage will be very different. We should only advise and suggest, not impose our opinions on others even if that person is our relative.
The Junior summarized his dharma talk with the motto in life: reduce suffering, be happy, arouse awakening and give love.
Last, Junior Thich Tam Truong, Abbot of Hoang Phap pagoda had words of encouragement to practitioners. By the way, he reminds everyone to take precepts as a teacher, trying to comply with five basic principles of Buddhists, such as no killing, stealing, engaging in sexual misconduct, lying, drinking, and coming to the temple to listen to dharma; then apply Buddha's teachings to daily life to have a peaceful and happy life.
