Ending of the summer cultivation course at Tay Khanh Pagoda - Thai Binh

Junior Ven. Thich Tam Dao, a monk of Hoang Phap had a dharma talk to the youth on the topic “A heart of human loving” in the summer retreat at Tay Khanh pagoda on July 5th, 2018 (lunar May 220h, Year of Dog).

“A heart of human loving” means a heart knowing of loving, but we have to love ourselves first, then we could love others. Sometimes, we imagine that parents or lovers being those will love us the best.

A child knows to love his parents, he has to know how to self - take care himself, self practice, and make his parents joy, so he will not dependent on its parents. However, all of us can not carry out those. We waste our health, time, money to useless deeds causing sufferings for ourselves and people around. Nowadays, the youth are attracted by playing online games, facebook, zalo, etc., while their parents have worked hard earning money, expense for their schooling fees. The Junior Ven. reminded participants understanding, taking care and helping their parents on daily deeds after ending this retreat.

 In the afternoon, the monks in the organization board had a conversation and reminding as following: all of you must have changes your actions, speech, thoughts that deserves your parents merit.

The summer retreat ended in the joy and being extremely movedness from attendees.

 Before returning home, the ogranizers gave them a dharma gift as, the book “Understanding and loving”, “By its whole heart” and souvenir presents.

The summer's cultivation course of Tay Khanh pagoda ended, but it remains a deep expression of the summer full of energy and significance on participants’ minds.
