Huong Phap Pagoda wish Tet to Senior Ven Thich Chan Tinh on the lunar first Day

On morning the first day of the Pig's Lunar Tet, the monks and Buddhists of Huong Phap pagoda in a formal dress, solemnly gathered in front of pure room of the Senior Ven. Abbot of Hoang Phap Pagoda to pay homage to him.

After the moment of greeting the sacred and warm New Year's Eve, in morning of the New Year’s first day, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hong - who is directly managing Huong Phap Pagoda, Cu Chi – the branch of Hoang Phap Pagoda, in which Senior Ven. Thich Chan Tinh is staying a quiet room, studying the sutra. He has represented monks and Buddhists respectfully offer to the Senior Venerable the New Year’s wishes. In the friendly, close and warm atmosphere between Master and disciples, the Ven. also had a few words to send to the mass.

In his teaching words, the Venerable Master gently told Sangha that monks must always remember ideal of leaving home and mission to propagate dharma. Talking in the spirit of Buddha taught in the Digha Nikaya sutra, is: "The monks, please come everywhere, because of happiness, peace for the beings, because of compassion for the life, as well as it is for the benefit, happiness, and peace for the gods and humans." For this, monks need to have certain knowledge and capacity, otherwise, it will be difficult to support for the beings. Particularly for the Buddhists, the Venerable advised that in spite of volunteer doing to serve the Three Jewels and monks, but Buddhists should not forget cultivation to gain full of blessing. On that occasion, the Ven. also sent some greetings health and peace to the monks, thanking the Sangha and Buddhists for their support to the Senior Ven during time entering pure room, studying the sutra.
