Praying in Buddhism spirit is completely different than the other religions. Because true Buddhists do not reply on favors or calamities on Gods or dieties. Buddha is “a conscious personâ€. He guides people the conscious life way to have merciful and wisdom. In this spirit, students from HCMC visited Hoang Phap pagoda to have the rituals of praying ceremony wishing for contemplating Buddha’s pur beauty, from which they improve judicious abilities, unruffled of one ‘self to be confident enough to take part in the examination.
Before taking place the ceremony, they listened to the talk from Ven. Thich Tam Dao – Vice Abbot Hoang Phap pagoda. He hoped that pupils would focus on their study before the examination came. He advised they should study hard and think of their family, teachers and for themselves. The future is present. If they make effort at present, they would attain the good result in the future.
The ceremony was organized in sacred and warm atmosphere. Then, they had lunch at the pagoda, each of them also received a Dharmaratna gift including:
- Brief history of Sakyamuni, Still stay in happiness, Human life.
- A DVD of “7th Sunflowerâ€on “ The source of spiritual mindâ€
- A VCD of “Don’t believe in strange things.â€
