After the chanting Ksitigarbha Sutra, Junior Thich Tam Hung, Abbot of Dong Cao Pagoda, instructed Buddhists to solemnly make the ritual of releasing creatures on Hung Long River, as well as spread love to all species.
After that, the mass continued to return to the temple to recite Noble Eightfold Path Sutra and depart for Nga Son General Hospital to donate more 300 portions of vegetarian meals to the patients being treated here to sow good conditions, led by Buddhist Tinh Dong.

Although Buddhist affairs at the month’s beginning were too busy, Abbot Thich Tam Hung did not mind celebrating birthdays for Buddhists in Yen Phap ashram with a birth month of Nov. printed in ID cards. After the opening of Liang-Wu-Ti Sutra and the transmission of ten-good precepts for Buddhists attending the 3rd Reflecting on inner mind Retreat (Oct. 2nd - 12th, LC) the mass sat together to have small party, celebrating with Buddhists, who have November birthdays, and gave gifts to Buddhists. Although the gift is small, it is the Abbot's heart to give to lay Buddhists.
