This is the calling all precepts of Bodhisattvas had received in Buddhist Mahayana. The word "gathering" means group or category. These three groups of precepts include all Mahayana precepts, pure nature, unpolluted, and fully unobstructed, so they are called "three gatherings of pure precepts"; include:
1. Samvara-śīla: includes all the precepts that the disciples receive, has the ability to eliminate evil and prevent sin.
2 Kuśala-dharma-samgrāhaka-śīla: is practice of all good dharmas.
3. Sattvārtha-kriyā-śīla: i.e bring compassion to benefit sentient beings.
The Most has deeply analyzed each gender for the mass to understand and practice.
Buddha Shakyamuni, when he first attained enlightenment, attained supreme enlightenment while sitting under the Bodhi tree, He taught: filial piety to one's parents, elder Master, monks, and Three Jewel.
By the way, the Most points out these four great graces for each of us in life, each of us needs to know filial piety, gratitude and repayment.
At the same time, the Master encouraged and strengthened the practitioner's view and firm belief that the teachings of Master, Patriarch, and Buddha about the Pure Land are real. Indeed, each of us needs to have enough: faith, vows, and practice are very important and necessary conditions for Pure Land practitioners to progress on their path to study and seek rebirth in the Pure Land.
He reminded lay Buddhists to keep a respectful mind towards Three Jewels, the Sangha, and to comply with precepts to protect Buddhadharma. The mind will lead dharma (things); each practitioner should practice and learn, transform body and mind every day to become purer, the Pure Land will manifest right at the original mind, the future birth in the pure land is certain.
