The group "Hành Trình Thien Duyen" organized activities and practices at Hoang Phap pagoda on October 22nd, 2023.
All members gathered in the main lecture hall to have a talk show and exchange with singers-musicians Sy Luan and Mc Lien Thao in the morning.
Responding to the invitation of Buddhist Tinh Tuan - Group Leader and young people, Most Thich Chan Tinh came to the lecture hall to preach Dharma to all attendees in the afternoon.
Being born into this life, each person has a different body, intelligence, appearance, and lifespan, no one is the same. Even if the same parents are born, the children are not the same: some are beautiful - some are ugly; happy people - miserable people... is due to each person's own karma and blessings.
Sitting in the lecture hall listening to the Dharma, all listeners are very blessed to be born with all six senses, eyes to see, ears to hear, nose to smell scents, mouth to speak clearly, consciousness clear; Out there, there are people whose senses are not perfect: their eyes cannot see, they have no hands to hold, their feet cannot walk, etc; having a healthy body and a clear mind is a blessing and great happiness but we don't understand that. Thus, we must know how to appreciate ourselves with what we have. Sometimes because of small things, or because our parents or relatives do not meet the requirements, we are sad and blame our parents, sad our lives, resentful of God and the people around us. There are even young people who do not know how to cherish their lives and then ruin their lives with alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, partying, gambling, etc.
Suppose one day we lose a part of our body: no legs to walk, or no hands to hold...then we will feel the happiness of having a healthy, complete body of all senses. We have this body because of the great merit of our parents who loved us, gave birth to us, raised us. So, we must be grateful and repay with specific actions, doing something to make our parents famous, have a good reputation in life, must live a worthy life, first of all for ourselves, then for our parents, relatives, and homeland. There are disabled people, but they still try to rise up, support themselves, and do not want to be a burden to their family and society, it is truly worthy of commendation and praise. However, there are also people who are very healthy and have full six senses, but they fall into the path of entertainment and self-destruction, leading to harm to society and suffering to others.
Buddha taught, there are four types of people: from light towards darkness; from light towards light; from darkness towards light; from darkness to darkness. By these ones, the Most taught all listeners to look back at themselves, look at the example of people with disabilities rising up and contributing to society and the country. From then on, every day we improve ourselves, towards the light, not towards the darkness.
After that, all attendees took photos in beautiful moments beside the Master.
