One-Day Buddha Cultivation Course In Cambodia

On March 12 2017 (Feb. 15 Rooster Year), the branch of Hoang Phap temple in Cambodia organized ‘One-Day Buddha Cultivation’ course according to monthly periods . Crowded-Buddhists returned to temple to attend the retreat.
After breakfast, Buddhists gathered in lecture hall to listen to Dharma from Venerable Thich Tam Truc, abbot of Hoang Phap, Cambodia, head of the retreat. For more than an hour, Venerable talked with the Buddhists about issues relating to Buddhist rituals. He said‘Nghi’ is a form, a pattern, ritual; ‘Le’ is a religious ceremony, worship, sacrifice, worship, reverence. Thus, ‘nghi le’ is the ritual chanting ceremony according to the religious belief of a religion.
The meaning of ritual
1. Ritual expressing homage to the Three Jewels.
2. Ritual about artisation of philosophy.
3. Ritual is the means of protection
4. The ritual tranquillizes the ashrams.
Buddhist ritual is a practice that also transforms suffering, reduces the pressure of greed, hatred and delusion. On the other hand, it is a very effective means of propagation. For nearly 2,000 years, Buddhism has been present in Vietnam, Buddhist rituals have made up the mark of cultural beliefs, have built the moral and spiritual traditions of the Vietnamese people.
At the end of the Dharma, he praised the spirit of the Buddhists who consciously cultivated an enhanced day, contributed to the solemnity of the mass. After that, they joined in the usual practice time.
