One-day Buddha Cultivation Course in Cambodia

This time, Junior Venerable Thich Tam Chanh was invited to lecture on the subject “Three Difficulties”. The content is that to be human is difficult, to listen to the Dharma is harder, to meet the tranquil and solemn atmosphere of ashrams and following their examples to study is even the hardest. Therefore, Buddhists are aware of difficultly becoming human beings, they need to cherish their lives, use life and death of this body to do good things, bring benefits to human and themselves. Simultaneously, if Buddhists want to be reborn as human in the next life, they need to practice five precepts. Similarly, we should cultivate diligently when we have the opportunity to listen to the Dharma and meet the ashrams, making less bad methods, more good methods. With the real-life examples of humor when interpreting matters, the teachings of Venerable lecturer created the lively and fun atmosphere in all ashrams.

After the Dharma talk, Venerable Thich Tam Truc – abbot of Hoang Phap Cambodia pagoda, guided Buddhists the cankrama and Buddhist sutra course as well as ashrams activities for Dharma affairs in the coming time. In the morning, the Venerable Abbot also vowed for releasing ceremony with the Buddhists.

At the end of the retreat, nearly 200 Buddhists were given a VCD of “The Mistakes” which Senior Venerable Thich Chan Tinh, the abbot of Hoang Phap Vietnam Pagoda had lectured.
