One Day Cultivation in Cambodia

On this cultivation course, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Duc began to lecture on the topic “Cause – effect and Karma.”One of basic truths that Buddha are often mentioned in Dharma is always concerned about two words ‘cause – effect’, which means reason and consequence. In other words, “Cause” is the seed, “Effect” is the fruit.

Talking about Cause – Effect and Karma is talking about the process of acion. Each that concretes thought and action is driving force that creates safe state or unsafe state; happy life or unfortunate life. Buddha clearly taught : There isn’t any control by the One Power, the Creator or God and Saint. There is only human deeds and their psychological action.

Buddhist should master and believe deeply in Cause – Effect. If someone has strong will of enlightenment, ends of creating bad karma, cultivatiing good karma, he can transform suffering and will get good karma in the future.

At the end of Dharma talk, people were happy and started reciting Buddha’s name.
