One-Day peaceful cultivation at Tieu Dao Pagoda in Quang Ninh Province

On Jan. 17th, 2018, Tieu Dao Pagoda at Ha Khau ward, Quan Long Province, Ha Long City organized One-Day Cultivation for on Buddhists at the end of the year

Junior Ven. Thich Tam Tinh – the Committee of the Director Board of Vietnamese Buddhist Associastion in Quang Ninh Province, Abbot of Tieu Dao Pagoda, had a dharma talk to the mass with its theme: “How are the difference cultivation between a leaving-home person and a laying man?”

The Junior Ven. taught that the life of a leaving-home person has no dependence on its family as of man and wife, children, family, etc, which their cultivation are differrent from a laying home. A laying-home who understands Buddhist dharma, pagodas and has their cultivation, etc, has blessing and good conditions, which is really a precious thing. However, their cultivations still depend on family as of man and wife, children, family, etc, Therefore, they could not abandon relevant bindings to cultivate as a leaving-home person. They should take their family’s calm foundation, harmony with couple’s life, pious children, respect the old and concede the inferior ones, filial piety to parents, honor at Master. These form a cultivation way of a laying-home Buddhist.

 No cultivation is like at home.

The true one is to honor and respect parents.
