One-Day peaceful cultivation at Tieu Dao Pagoda in Quang Ninh Province.

Good men and believing women Buddhists came to Tieu Dao Pagoda (Ha Khau, Ha Long, Quang Ninh) to attend One-Day peaceful retreat on August 1st, 2019 (lunar July 01st, the year of the Pig).

Junior Ven. Thich Tam Tinh, Abbot of Tieu Dao Pagoda had a dharma talk with the topic: “A heart of filial piety”. He taught "The filial mind is the mind of Buddha, the filial action is the Buddha disciple's practice." When parents are still alive, we should provide adequate physical needs in life, show our love and care to the parents.

On the occasion of Filial Piety Ullambana season, he prayed for those who still get their existing parents, should respect and take care of them in order to create a blessed and warm family; the unfortunate people no longer have their parents in life, make efforts to cultivate, create many good things to transfer merit to them. For the Three Jewels disciples, there is only a path of spiritual practice and deliverance achievement which may bring a peaceful life and liberation for oneself, family and all living beings.

At the end of the talk, the mass recited the Ullambana Sutra.
