Preaching dharma talk in Taipei, Taiwan

On occasion of the trip in Taipei, Taiwan, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Luan arrived to the retreat and had a preaching to share the Buddha teachings with Vietnamese Buddhists attending the retreat on Nov. 17th, 2019 (Oct. 21st, the year of the pig).

It is known this is a retreat founded by himself nearly a year for the Vietnamese community who are working and living Taipei at the address 10th floor, No 96, part 2, Nam Kinh Dong street, Trung Son area, Taipei. This retreat has about 35 people attending, is usually held on the Sunday of each month.

After being instructed to sit quietly in the morning, the mass chanted  together the sutra of Blessing and the sutra of Compassionate Heart. After that, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Luan had a preaching time with the topic Sitting Quietly To Observe Clearly.

In dharma time, the Master emphasized the clarity observing of body, mind, life, family relationships, and society. In particularly, it is making friend with "good", good friends, practicing on the ten virtue, closely to the good people to refuge for cultivation in life attaining the good deeds in the present and the future.

Joining the atmosphere of the anniversary of the Founder's Death is holding at Hoang Phap Pagoda in Viet Nam, on this occasion, the followers in oversea was watching a short film about late Most Ven Ngo Chan Tu, the Founder of Hoang Phap Pagoda to commemorate and be grateful to the Patriarch. Next, the mass was guided to the meditation walking and cultivating.

The afternoon is a dharma conversation program to solve all questions around cultivation and problems in life. It was followed by a ceremony of candle lighting for 39 victims in the UK.
