Joining the ceremony, the Senior. Ven. preached the lecture about “A Great Pharmacist” to Buddhists. Buddha was not a God who could offer blessings or punish sufferings. He was a good doctor who could prescribe and treat mental diseases. People took the medicine from Him, the patient would be well again soon. If only reading the prescription without taking the medicine, they would never be well again. He was called “Nakaya” meaning a guide of mindfulness as well. He knew the safe road leading to good effects; the others were the evil roads leading to the decadent. Being a Buddhist, if you go the right way as his teaching such as performing good deeds and avoiding bad ones, not being greedy, angry, envious, jealous, etc. You will be in peace and happiness from the present to the future for sure.

Ending the lecture, the Senior Ven. offered a VCD “Begging for food to feed parents” and a book “Sudden blessings or sufferings” to the Buddhists.
