Repentance ceremony on Feb. 29th, Year of the Snake at Suoi Phap Pagoda, Tay Ninh

All attendees began reciting Buddha names and walking meditation instructed by Junior Thich Tam Huong before the ritual. Next, the Abbot of Suoi Phap Pagoda had a dharma talk titled Educating.
Blessing to be a human having enough eyes, ears, nose, tongue, body and mind, moreover, we are fortunate to listen to the teachings to progress in our spiritual practice...These good deeds were created in the past, accumulated merit to receive nice results today. If we continue to diligently do them in life, the future life will be even better; on the contrary, if we do not practice, but only enjoy blessings, the blessings will disappear and the next life will be worse than today. The human body is hard to obtain, the Buddha Dharma is hard to listen to, therefore, everyone must cherish this body and use it to practice the Dharma, escape the birth-death circle of suffering. Practitioners should not wait until the body is sick or old to practice, it will be too late as the Patriarch said "Do not wait when being old to recite the Buddha name, there are many graves of young people in the cemetery". Finally, we must educate ourselves, all things in life are impermanent and nothing is permanent, if having no practice diligently, we will fall into the birth-death circle, wasting the luck of having this human body.
After the dharma, the mass entered the Repentance Ceremony.
