Repentant Ceremony

In the evening of May 15th, 2018 (March 29th, Lunar Calendar), the devout Buddhist from other regions gathered at Hoang Phap for the monthly Repentant Ceremony.

1.      Giving what others like, in order to lead them to love and receive the truth. There are three ways of giving:

·Material giving: including our property, our ability, health, strength…

·Dharma giving: spreading the Buddha’s teaching to all people, make them see the right way for a happy life and everlasting happiness.

·Fearless giving: some good and fit advice to people when they are in difficult or adversity to help them overcome their fear and impasse

2.      Affectionate speech, with the same purpose: Use the gentle words, soft speeches; speak in the right time; have the honest saying, not lie; not having pointless words and all the words should come from the compassionate and calm mind.

3.      Conduct profitable to others, with the same purpose: work and practice together for the co-benefits. Take the bodhisattva way for sharing the Buddha’s teaching to other people.

4.      Co-operation with an adaptation of oneself to others, to lead them into the truth: this is the fruit of the three methods mentioned above. It means we succeed in subduing the hearts of other people.

These are the means for the Buddhist in helping and converting people to have a right faith in developing morality, making happiness for family and society. When we are close to others, help them in difficulty with your whole heart, they will companion with you as the part of the rule. Then we can teach them Dharma easily.
