Repentant Ceremony on Aug. 30th, Year of Mouse

Before beginning the rite, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Ngon had a dharma talk to all the participants with the topic: Living in Life.
Human activities living in life always seek their happiness. Someone in hope for wealth, fame and a joyful family is happiness; Some people think that happiness is a peaceful life; however, there are people who freely and peacefully step through the ups and downs of the world. Since then, Junior Ven. shared with participants some things to live freely, happily and leisurely in life.
With the story in the sutra of the Buddha, the monk analyzed and explained the profound meanings in the teaching about true faith in the Three Jewels: when practice in the Dharma, we will attain to a happy and peaceful present life; awareness of the sweetness and bitterness in life brought that try to overcome to experience the sweetness of sutra, then equip ourselves with a good and wise life to bring happiness to us and everyone around.
Before the storm and flood are raging in the Central region, the monk called on the mass to pay attention and join hands to contribute to the people in the central region, showing the mutual affection, compassionate spirit of Buddhism to the fates is in need.
After that, the mass listened to the song Sand dust in life.
After the talk, the mass entered the penitential ceremony as usual.
