Repentant Ceremony on Feb. 14th, the rat year.

On Mar. 07th, 2020 (lunar Feb. 14th, 2020), all good men and believing women inside and outside Ho Chi Minh City came Hoang Phap Pagoda to attend the time of repentance as usual.

Before beginning the rite, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hanh had a Dharma talk with the subject How Will The World Be?

Facing fluctuations in the world, from forest fires to the current epidemic has made people's hearts uneasy. Along with the development of science and technology has provided mankind with the comforts of material life, but along with that, it is the gradual depletion of natural resources and environmental pollution that are gradually threatening human life. In his preaching, the Monk asked to what will happen to our world when the element in the environment is permanently lost? From this, he pointed out four factors that quickly destroy the world, such as enjoyment, hatred, harm, destruction. Our improper enjoyment will greatly affect the habitat of other animals, leading to the presence of hatred and destruction.

By this way, he shared the role of Buddhists to help reduce the current situations, such as studying, practicing, propagating and protecting the Dharma. Each person should create a lot of good karma, turning to the inner world to see ownself, training good qualities will help the mind to be peaceful, healthy and harmonious. How will this world be? it depends on our attitude and decisions.

After the Dharma talk, the mass started the repentant ceremony as usual.
