Repentant Ceremony on Feb. 30th, Year of the Buffalo

Before beginning the rite, Junior Thich Tam Thoai had a dharma talk with the theme 'Why Do I Choose the Sect of Pure Land and How Do I Practice?"
The Buddha's teaching exists to deal with human suffering. In fact, sentient beings have different thoughts, so many different cultivation methods have been born. At the end of dharma, most sentient beings were confused, difficult to teach and subdue, so the Buddha compassionately taught the Pure Land method or recited the Buddha's name to be born in the West. The monk analyzed the cause of choosing this method and explained clearly the practice to be correct and achieve great benefits.
The Pure Land sect is based on self power and other power. If one has no concentration to recite, it is impossible to receive in the support of the Buddhas. Next, he spoke of the strict practice of six senses and three pure karma during the rite as chanting, reciting the Buddha's name as well as in all daily activities. Especially, practitioners need to be careful in their three karma of body, speech, and thought. We should cultivate to gain a pure and clear mind, always aim at the realm of Pure Land to lead to deliverance of samsara.
Next, the mass listened to the song Sand dust in life.
After the talk, the mass started the penitential ceremony as usual.
