Repentant Ceremony on Oct. 14th, Year of Mouse

Before beginning the rite, Junior Ven. Thich Tam Hoan had a dharma talk to all the participants.
To have an existence in this life, we have thanks to so many graces that we must remember all life. The spirit of gratitude has always been a thousand-life tradition, the basic ethics of people, so a grateful person is also the kind of person that is difficult to find in life. By daily life stories and a personal letter, Junior Ven. said about two of the Four Grace, the nurturing grace of parents and the grace of education of the monk. In particular for the leaving-home person, being born this body is thanks to a parent; helping the development of wisdom and training is thanks to the ordination teacher. By the way, Junior Ven. talked about the virtue and career of the Patriarch and his master to express his gratitude, remembrance and aspiration to imitate the example of cultivation.
After nearly an hour, the monk reminded the mass, life and death is obvious but how to live is useful for ourself and for people and how to live to save an example for posterity after leaving life.
After that, the mass listened to the song Sand dust in life.
After the talk, the mass entered the penitential ceremony as usual.
