Summer Retreat on the 5th Day: Way of Living

 

In the morning, a Dharma Talk shared by Ven. Thich Giac Hoang, member of directors Buddhist association of HCMC, the Vice Secretary General of Vietnamese Buddhist University in HCMC, on the title of “Way of Living”.

Through the talk, he pointed out the ten ways of living: virtual living (live on the internet), selfish living (for one benefit only), insensible living (care of no one), pragmatic living, cohabitation living, cheerless living, healthy living, mental living, standard living, elevated living, temperate living and slow living. Each type of living he analyzes to show their positive and active side, with this the young people can choose the best choice of living for them.

In the afternoon there is an association between students and the prodigy child Pan Dang Nhat Minh, the champion of the “Road to Mount Olympia” 2017. In the meeting, Nhat Minh shared to all students his valuable experiences which are practical and useful for study. It’s about how to memorize for longterm, and get a high score in all examination.

In the evening there was the 2nd round of the game show “Ullambana Recitation”.
