Thanh Nhan’s High-school-student prayed before the final exam

To lift up the student’s spirit before the final examination and entrancing the university, besides taking around look, all students also hearing the beneficial words from the vice-abbot of Hoang Phap, Ven. Thich Tam Trong.
The final exam is the most significant time of the 12 year-study of students. Therefore, he hopes all students keep well their health and have confidence for the exam. The Buddha taught that what we have sown, we reap. Now you all invest for knowledge you will gain the good result in the exam and be the intellectual, the learned persons in future, those who bring about social and national development.
Today you come here, under the support of the Triple Gems, you all will be stronger and more confident in taking the exam. However, this support can’t decide your result but yourself, study hard and have enough self-confidence, you will be fine, in the opposite you are lazy and relying on some miracle will happen, you will be failed. So, in front of the Buddha, you should take a vow for a hard study for the future success. It’s very meaningful to be here before the examination.
In addition, Venerable also gives some good advice for life that one should apply nowadays. As a human being, we’d better be honest to oneself, take responsibility for what we did. If doing something wrong and were pointed out by others we should listen to correct and be better day by day. By this, everyone all loves us.
The sharing finished and the praying rite starts. When the rite has been done, all students have a cozy lunch with the monks and the Buddhists in the temple.
After the lunch, Ven. Abbot Thich Chan Tinh gave some words to them. He hopes each of them being here will be the good citizens later, who make the national development in future.
Before leaving they all have a Dharma gift, the three books “With all one’s heart”, “Summer coming” and “A gift for the New Year”.
