The 2nd Ngo Chan Tu Law Altar in 2022

On October 25th, 2022 (Oct. 1st, LC), Hoang Phap Pagoda organized Ngo Chan Tu Law Altar to transmit precepts of the novice to 09 new cultivators at the pagoda.
Thanks to the development of Buddhist Sangha, provinces and cities regularly organized Altars of law, so there have been very few internal law Altars for a long time. This kind of Altar will be held at the temple and transferred rules by their initial Master to practice.
After the period learning rules at the pagodas and essential contents of sutras, laws completed, and then was approved by their master, the pagoda held a rite at here to spread precepts to new cultivators, who meet standards in accordance with precepts and Buddhist commandments. Later, when coming to the Precepts Altars, they will be familiar and stable.
At exactly 8 o'clock, in the three rings of the drum bells, two rows ten masters gathered to the patriarch hall to offer incense to the Founder and enter the precepts’ School.
At the ceremony, Most Thich Chan Tinh, Master of Hoang Phap Pagoda, as an original Master of novices, was invited to be a Head Master of Law Altar; Junior Thich Tam Huyen as a teacher of duties; Junior Thich Tam Hue as a teacher of disciplines; Seven Venerable Monks are witness members of the Sangha, accompanying with the board of rituals, guardians and nine new cultivators.
After offering incense to Buddha, practitioners in front of ten lecturers, offered a speech to receive precepts. Next, it is the Buddhist ritual in conferring precepts for disciples, such as: meeting, transmitting precepts from ten masters, transmitting clothes, and water filters. The main purpose of law altars is to spread teachings, choose inheritors, preserve Dharma in life.
In addition, on the evening of Oct. 24th, 2022, new cultivators gathered in lecture hall 1, Dharma Wheel Building to study the "Commandments about conduct"; instructed on how to dress in robes by Junior Thich Tam Huyen, Junior Thich Tam Tri and Junior Thich Tam Vuong.
The scene of the ritual is extremely respectful and solemn.
