Then, the mass had the time of reciting the Buddha's name, and chanted the precepts.
Response to the Organizers’ invitation, Senior Thich Tri Hue, Deputy of HCMC Buddhist Guidance Board, Abbot of Phap Tang pagoda in Binh Chanh, HCM City came the lecture hall to give a dharma talk named Ten-thousand dharma in Buddhism no being outside the mind.
The root of the mind is affliction. The roots of afflictions are greed, anger, and ignorance. Greed is desire, passion for something. The core of a greedy mind is from 5 needs: property, beauty, reputation, food, sleep... There are three poisons that are always hidden inside every person's thoughts, without identifying and controlling them early, people will easily become their victims. When these three things arise, they will burn everything from moral character, intelligence to one's own life, negatively affecting others. Thus, we need to constantly learn and cultivate more knowledge to have a wise mind, not sow evil karma, then we will enjoy the blessings; know how to control your emotions, not become a victim of unjustified rage, see our own mistakes, and look for the good in others. The previous Buddhas and Bodhisattvas also began from ordinary people, they practiced to reach enlightenment. If all sentient beings know how to practice, they will definitely become enlightened like Saints. Practicing contributes to building a happy family and a more developed society, staying away from things that the world considers inappropriate such as breaking the law, killing lives ...
After the lecture was completed, the Senior answered Buddhists' questions about practice and the topic of the lecture.
Next, the Senior, monks and Buddhists went to release fish at Co Bac ferry, Can Tho.
The day of practice ended with the joy of the attendees.
